Who is doing it and why are many of the public alleys I set at 15 MPH having the speed limit deleted? Is it a local editor or is it a HERE Professional? An alley is defined in this California Vehicle Code section: 110. “Alley” is any highway having a roadway not exceeding 25 feet in width which is primarily used for access to the rear or side entrances of abutting property. Vehicle Code Section 22352 says that the prima facie speed limit for alleys is 15 MPH. If it's a local editor please stop deleting them. Better yet: Please approve them if they're in your Adopted Neighborhood. The ones I have set, I have researched and verified. If it's a HERE Professional please contact me and let me know if it's HERE's policy not to set SLs on alleys. Thanks.
