Grafton A1 Bypass now open

Just driven up to Tweed Heads in NSW Australia and although the mapping system in the car showed the new bypass on the screen the directions were still trying to get me to go onto the old Pacific Highway passing through Grafton. Found that the system just kept saying re calculating. Anybody know how to report this.

You just have, thanks, that is a major highway upgrade and has been incorporated in HERE albeit a little confused around Maclean where it joins the old road alignment and both routes still labeled A1 (the old road a main road and the new a highway).

How far is it open, all the way up over the new Broadwater bridge to West Ballina.

“Here Is” shows it as still dotted not sure how long before we can expect an update there.

I am not sure what GPS you are using my Toyota has the latest 2016 map so I am unlikely to see it on that.

My Garmin has the recently released 2021.20 and it shows as connecting through, though I haven’t driven it to see what is truly complete.

As Kevin mentioned, the Grafton Bypass has been incorporated into the HERE map. You may need a map update for your vehicle or device. You can do this in a number of ways, either by checking here – https://here.navigation.com/home/en_GB/HEREAPAC/AUD, your vehicle/devices manufacturer’s website or when having a service at a dealership.

In terms of the upgrade at Maclean, I believe this section is still under construction as indicated by the dotted lines.
