Conventional sidewalk inappropriately marked as "trail"

I live near the "trail" in question and it is not distinct and/or separately named walking space. Even though it appears to be on the edge of a green space, it is, in reality, nothing more than a sidewalk that is no different than any other. It is not part of a local "trail", "trail system", or designated for a special purpose inside (or outside) of the area.
