I find the attributes of DC connectors at EV chargers very odd. They are the same as for AC chargers, and this does not make sense.
1. You can/must select a mode, but DC is always mode 4, and mode 4 is always DC.
2. You can/must choose between 1 and 3 phases, but DC has no “phase”.
2. You have to provide voltage and current, but this is typically unknown for DC chargers. All you know as a customer is the maximum power in kW.
So can ypu please change the attributes of DC connectors to something more useful?
