    How can I add a facebook or tripadvisor page to a place?

    I recommend to only copy and paste the actual business URL into the Place Attributes – Contact Information – Websites field. THE FB/Trip Advisor specific URL or any other domain specific URLs should not be included. Does this help?

    Of course, I agree but some places use FB as their “Homepage”. Some places already have a FB or Tripadvisor link on the right side (where I can remove a place or merge with another place). Is it not possible to add such links?
