Where a road indicates it is accessible or not by a “truck” why does there seem to be no differentiation between truck types. In the UK we have numerous roads banned for trucks over 7.5T as an example. In addition, there seems to be nothing indicating the heights of trucks which can use the roads. How would we search for these details on road nodes?

    Hi Kevin,

The HERE database is very detailed in terms of truck restrictions and holds records for restrictions such as width, height, length and weight as well as more specific restrictions including Tunnel Locations & Codes, London Lorry Control and number of axles.

These precise restrictions aren’t currently editable by end users in Map Creator for various reasons.

Id suggest that the only public way of viewing this data would be to purchase a truck specific navigation device such as a Garmin dezl or Snooper Truckmate Pro.

    Thanks, Ben
