I have just purchased the 2018 version of the HERE map (Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV) and noticed that the Queensferry Crossing over the Forth near Edinburgh is not showing as the main road bridge. The old Forth Road Bridge is still shown as the primary crossing and yet it is not open to general public use, only taxi’s, buses, and those on foot. Could you give some idea of when this crossing arrangement will be updated.
The timeliness of the maps in the products of our customers, such as Mitsubishi, depends on their release cycle and delivery time of the products. Depending on the customer, this can be between 3 months and one year. We make every effort to enter road network changes into our database as early as possible so that these changes are indicated in the products of our customers in good time.
