Laurie Street now has a sign-posted, speed limit of 50km/h

Map creator already shows Laurie st Hudson and all the adjoining streets as 50kph, what makes you think it has changed.
It’s the only street in the area that has been signposted (and recently, at that).
As the law says “The speed limit in built-up areas in Queensland is 50km/h unless otherwise indicated by signs.” it may simply be that the council has received complaints from residents in that street and they consider motorists need reminding.
