Restart Snapchat:
Unlock your phone and navigate to your open apps.
Close Snapchat by swiping up from the bottom (on Android) or double-clicking the home button (on iPhone) and swiping up on Snapchat.
Reopen the Snapchat app.
Restart Your Device:
Close all open apps.
Power off your device completely.
Wait a few minutes and then power it back on.
Open Snapchat again.
Update Snapchat:
Visit your device’s app store (App Store for Apple, Google Play Store for Android).
Search for Snapchat and check for updates.
If an update is available, install it.
Check Permissions:
Make sure Snapchat has the necessary permissions (camera, microphone, storage) enabled.
Adjust permissions in your device settings.
Clear App Cache and Storage Data (Android):
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info (See All Apps) and tap Snapchat.
Tap Force Stop and select OK on the confirmation.
Reopen Snapchat and check if it works.
Use an Older Version:
If the latest version is causing issues, consider using an older version of Snapchat.
Remember to try these steps one by one, and hopefully, Snapchat will start working smoothly on your device1 Check more at https://alertgrow.com/jeon lae • May 3, 2024 at 7:19 am UTCUpdate the Snapchat App:
Outdated apps can sometimes cause problems. Ensure you have the latest version of Snapchat installed.
On iPhone:** Open the App Store, tap on your profile picture (top right corner), scroll down, and check for updates under “Available Updates.”
On Android:** Open the Google Play Store, tap on your profile picture (top right corner), tap “Manage apps & device,” then “Updates.” Find Snapchat and tap “Update.”jeon lae • May 3, 2024 at 7:22 am UTCClear Snapchat Cache:
Clearing the app cache can sometimes resolve issues caused by accumulated data.
On iPhone: Unfortunately, there’s no direct way to clear the Snapchat app cache on iPhone. You can either reinstall the app (see step 6) or consider contacting Snapchat support for further guidance.
On Android:
Go to your phone’s Settings.
Tap on “Apps & notifications” or “Apps” (depending on your device).
Find “Snapchat” in the list of apps and tap on it.
Tap on “Storage” or “Storage & cache.”
Tap on “Clear cache.”
